FAQ

Element is visible in the builder but not visible in the preview:

• Select an element and choose "Visibility" tab in the right toolbar;

If an element is not visible but should be you need to:

• Turn the tick "ON" in the checkbox for the particular element for it to appear.

If it is still not appearing in the preview:

• Find the element in Horizontal/Vertical (parental) layout and check for its "Visibility" option;
• Turn the tick "ON" in the checkbox (for the layout) so its inner element would be also visible in the preview.

1. Add layout:
• Select the "Layout" element on the main toolbar;
• Choose layout composition;
• Add elements into your layout;
• If you have more than one layout you can add elements to each layout.
2. Customise layout in the right toolbar:
• To change elements position in layout choose from "Horizontal Layout", "Vertical Layout" or "Floating Block";
• Align the elements in the layout by selecting the alignment for that layout;
• Add "Background" by inserting the image, colour or video to the layout;
• Add duplicate layouts buy clicking on pencil sign or right click on the layout you want and choose "Dublicate";
• Add borders to the layout and choose your width, style and colour;
• Add "Spacing" by using margin and padding and add space out side your layout or between your layout and elements.

1. Save backup:
• Go to "Publish" dropdown list and select "Backup/Restore" option;
• Click "Download backup" button.
2. Auto backup:
• Go to "Publish" dropdown list and select "Backup/Restore" option;
• Switch to the "Restore" tab and choose auto backup verstion to restore;
• By default, auto backups are saved no more than every 5 minutes. The number of auto-backups per website is limited and it saves 50 copies by default. When it reaches the limit of copies it keeps saving them further but with removing oldest copies keeping only 50 newest.
3. Restore backup:
• Go to "Publish" dropdown list and select "Backup/Restore" option;
• Switch to the "Restore" tab, click "Browse", choose downloaded backup from your computer or "Choose auto backup version to restore" and click "Restore".

1. Click on the menu element and select "Edit menu";
2. Click on "New Item";
3. Enter the "Item Name", select type of menu element (example "Page"), choose "Copy layout from" (example Home), or leave it clear and click "Apply";
4. Drag your created element to your required location or on top of a menu element to create a submenu and press "Apply";
5. To edit the menu/submenu page in the top left corner of a builder go to the dropdown menu and choose your menu/submenu.

• Drag and drop the "Advanced" widget to your required area;
• Choose "Countdown" option;
• On the right-hand side of your builder set the end date and end time.

Types of files that can be added to your website:

'jpg', 'jpeg', 'gif', 'png', 'svg', 'webp'

'ogg', 'mp4', 'mpeg', 'avi', 'flv', 'mkv', 'mov', 'webm'

'jpg', 'jpeg', 'gif', 'png', 'ico', 'svg'

'mp3', 'aac', 'wav', 'ra', 'midi', 'ram', 'wma', 'ogg', 'ape'

'pdf', 'docx', 'doc', 'xls', 'xlsx', 'rtf', 'ppt', 'pptx', 'odt', 'txt', 'csv', 'html', 'xml', 'js', 'yml', 'rar', 'zip', 'tar', 'gz', 'eps', 'cdr'

1. Go to "Settings" (on the top of the builder);
2. Go to "Settings" and switch to "Cookie policy";
3. Click on the checkbox "Enable cookie policy block";
4. Click on "Add new"; Enter "Cookie name" and "Cookie description";
5. If necessary, check the box "Required functional cookie". In this case, this cookie will be required;
6. Add as many Cookie names as needed;
7. Click "Apply".

To transfer builder content from one domain to another, you need:

Save backup:

• Open your Websites;
• Open the builder with the original domain using "Edit Website" button;
• Go to "Publish" button options and select "Backup/Restore" option;
• Click "Download backup" button.

Restore backup:

• Open the builder with the new domain using "Edit Website" button;
• Recover a copy with "Publish" button options by selecting the "Backup/Restore";
• Choose the restore option and Browse it from your computer;
• Save/Publish.

• Right-click on the menu on the edited page and select "Edit menu";
• Click on "New Item";
• Enter the "Item Name" (for example, banner), select the radio button "Popup", enter the size, click "Apply";
• Select a page from the list where you want the popup to be shown;
• Check the box "Show popup when page is opened" and select the created page from the dropdown list, click "Apply";
• In the upper left corner from the dropdown list select the popup page you created, edit the page and go back.

Each template has its own default elements and each element is placed differently per template.

So, after changing template, your created website will be lost.

• If you don't have a website yet:
  • You can use the "Landing page" template;
• If you already have a website and want to create "Landing page" from it:
  • Сonnect the menu items with the necessary sections of your website by going through the steps (in step 4, use the part for "menu item").

You can manage elements visibility on:

1. Devices:
• Select an element or a layout and in the right toolbar and choose "Visibility";
• Choose the devices that you want to show/hide;
• Turn the tick on/off depending on the action that you want to apply.
2. Pages:
• Select page's Header, Body or Footer;
• Choose to show on the current page only, all pages or specific pages;
• Choose the specific pages that you want the section to be shown on.

• Select an element by clicking on it;
• In the right toolbar's choose Advanced category;
• Enter Anchor name what do you want;
• Choose the element you want to link to Anchor:
• if it is menu item:
• Right-click on the menu and select "Edit Menu";
• Click on "+ New Item";
• Edit "Item Name" and select "Link" radio button;
• Choose link type "Anchor to";
• Start editing necessary Anchor name, select it;
• Click on "Apply".
• if it is image/button:
• Select an element by clicking on it;
• In the right toolbar's click on a pencil icon near "URL";
• Select "Page on your Website" and choose the necessary Anchor name;
• Click on "Apply".
• if it is text:
• Double-click Text element to activate text editor;
• Select text part you need;
• Click "Link" button in text editor;
• Select "Page on your Website" and choose the necessary Anchor name;
• Click on "Apply".

• Select element that will be used to download a file (example: image, button, text);
• Find the "URL" radio button in the right toolbar's first tab;
• Click on the "Pencil" button by the "No link selected" option, you will see a "Link properties" popup;
• Choose the "File from your Website" radio button and click on the "Pencil" button;
• Click on the "Upload New File" – upload the necessary file, click the "Select" and after “Apply” button.

You can add animations on all elements on your website:

1. Click on the element in the builder that will have animations;
2. Find "Animation" section in the right toolbar;
3. Specify "Effect" type and it's properties:
• Direction;
• Duration;
• Delay;
• Loop.
4. Set effect on "Default" or/and on "Hover".

If you haven't created your website yet:

• Select the required "Under construction" template, edit and publish it;
• In the upper left corner of the Website Builder, from the "New/Reset" dropdown list, select "Change template" and select a new chosen template;
• Select the checkbox "Got it" and click "Yes, change template";
• Edit your website, but don't publish it until it's finished. Use the "Preview" button to view your website. In the upper left corner of the "Publish" dropdown list, select "Save Draft" to save your progress.

If you decided to hide your website while you are creating it, but don't want to lose the changes made:

• Go to "Publish" dropdown list and select "Backup/Restore" option;
• Click "Download backup" button;
• In the upper left corner of the Website Builder, from the "New/Reset" dropdown list, select "Change template" and select a new chosen "Under construction" template;
• Select the checkbox "Got it" and click "Yes, change template";
• Edit and publish it;
• Go to "Publish" dropdown list and select "Backup/Restore" option;
• Swich to the Restore tab, click "Browse", choose downloaded backup from your computer and click "Restore";
• Edit your website, but don't publish it until it's finished. Use the "Preview" button to view your website. In the upper left corner of the "Publish" dropdown list, select "Save Draft" to save your progress.
