The Domain Name Server/System (DNS) is a system for obtaining information about domain zones and IP addresses where websites are hosted. Simply put, DNS records must be specified so that your domain name is able to indicate on which server your website is hosted and where it needs to go in order to open this exact website on the Internet.
In order to change DNS records of a domain purchased on Site.pro system:
Note: Subdomains (e.g., website.site.pro) do not have a separate DNS Zone. This means that DNS changes cannot be applied on subdomains.
According to GDPR policy, information about domain name owners is hidden by default for both individuals and companies.
Exceptions may apply in regards to national domain zones of some countries. Please submit a ticket to our Customer Support team for more information about hiding information about the domain owner for these specific zones.
Since January 2014, ICANN, the organization that sets the rules for registering domain names, has introduced new rules for generic top-level domains (TLD) (e.g., .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, etc.).
According to these rules, registered domain requires verification of contact information.
Verification is carried out in two possible ways:
In both cases, an email will be sent to your email address specified during domain registration with a request to confirm the email (during the initial registration of the domain), or the validity of the changed contact information (when changing the name of the domain owner, name of organization or registration email).
