Installation / Update

  1. Open Plesk server console SSH and login as root.
    How to connect to server console via SSH
  2. Execute installation command:
    [code will appear after you or sign up]
  3. Important Whitelist Site.pro IPs (if they are not allowed by default) on Plesk server firewall
    You may have one of these firewalls: iptables, firewalld, UFW or other.
  4. Log in to Plesk as admin or reseller.
  5. Navigate to "Customers" page, click on "Log In As Customer":

  6. Click on "Website Builder" icon in "Dev Tools" section or left sidebar menu (icon can differ):

  7. Make sure that website builder opens successfully.

How to switch publication from FTP to SSH? available only for On-Premises

By default builder publishes websites on Plesk using FTP connection. To switch it to SSH connection, take the following steps:

  1. log in to Plesk admin account
  2. go to "Extensions" -> "My Extensions" page
  3. click "Open" button next to Website Builder extension
  4. activate option "Allow publication via SSH".

* Builder will use SSH connection only for those customers who have SSH access enabled in their accounts.

If you get error "FTP passive mode error" during website publication, you need to configure FTP passive mode on your Plesk server. Follow this guide: https://docs.plesk.com/en-US/obsidian/administrator-guide/server-administration/plesk-for-linux-configuring-passive-ftp-mode.74643/

Uninstallation

  1. Open Plesk server console SSH and login as root.
  2. Execute uninstallation command:

Plesk panel returns error "Error 1006 get plan data: Permission denied"
Published website suggests to download file instead of loading page in web
