Error communicating with hosting server

When this error appears during the publication of the website, which is hosted on DirectAdmin and was opened through WHMCS, then it means it most probably indicates a failure in the creation of login key for DirectAdmin from WHMCS. To fix this issue, take the following steps:

  1. update plugin on WHMCS by the following guide;
  2. log in to DirectAdmin panel with admin user;
  3. navigate to the page /CMD_LOGIN_KEYS;
  4. delete they key with name "siteprobuilderwhmcs" (if exists);
  5. remove the file [whmcs]/modules/addons/sitebuilder/panels/DirectAdminNew/login_key in your WHMCS installation;
  6. open website builder from WHMCS account and try to publish the website again to ensure that it starts working.
