Profit calculation example:

Let’s say:

  • 1,000 new hosting provider's customers try the website builder each month;
  • About 500 of them publish websites;
  • At least 100 customers will be ready to upgrade to paid plans.

Revenue Calculation for 12 months:

  • 1st month (70x€1 + 20x€3 + 10x€7) = €200
  • 2nd month = €400 (includes €200 from 1st month)
  • 3rd month = €600
  • ...
  • Total projected revenue for 12 months = €15,600

Total profit of hosting provider for 12 months:
50%x€15,600 = €7,800

The churn rate isn’t calculated, and the increase in new users isn’t included either.
