Error communicating with hosting server

When this error appears during the publication of the website, which is hosted on DirectAdmin and was opened through WHMCS, then it most probably indicates a failure in the creation of login key for DirectAdmin from WHMCS. To fix this issue, take the following steps:

  1. update plugin on WHMCS by the following guide;
  2. log in to DirectAdmin panel with admin user;
  3. navigate to the page /CMD_LOGIN_KEYS;
  4. delete the key with name "siteprobuilderwhmcs" (if exists);
  5. remove the file [whmcs]/modules/addons/sitebuilder/panels/DirectAdminNew/login_key in your WHMCS installation;
  6. open website builder from WHMCS account and try to publish the website again to ensure that it starts working.
