How to lock a financial period?
General Ledger → Period Closing This module is used to lock a specific period, for example, a financial year. To lock a period, click the button 1. Lock the entire period with all corresponding accounts: Fill in only the “Closing date” field — this specifies the date up to which all entries will be locked, then click “Save.” No entries can be created or modified up to the specified date: 2.
