Why can't I print a VAT invoice?

If, after registering a sales entry, the list of available templates does not include an invoice or VAT invoice template, you need to check the following:

Reference book → Warehouse → Doc. Series

Check whether the sales operation type you are using is linked to a document series.
If no link is specified, then it must be created.

Click “+” to create a new entry.

  • assign the sales operation type;
  • enter the series and the number length (indicate how many digits the number will consist of, e.g., if 6 is specified, the number will be displayed as 00000X);
  • check the box “Print invoice”;

Note. If a “Warehouse” is specified, automatic series and number assignment will work only if the same warehouse is selected during the sale.
You should not check the “Print invoice?” box when the selected operation type is used to generate: a write-off, a prepayment invoice, or a commercial offer.
