Warehouse → Purchases and Expenses Register the purchase invoice. When creating the item card, be sure to select the item attribute and register the purchase to an intermediate account. In other words, register the purchase as you would a newly acquired fixed asset. Settings → General Settings → Accounting In the field “Operation type of the document created for fixed asset modernization”, select Fixed Asset Entry. After filling in the fields, click the “Save” button. Assets → Long-term Assets → Long-term Assets Open the fixed asset card for the asset whose value you want to increase. In the “Modernization” tab, click the “+” button. In the date field, specify the date when you want to register the modernization. Click the “+” button; when a new green line appears, click the pencil icon and select from the list of items the one you want to register as the modernization — that is, what you purchased in step 1. After selecting the item, the program returns you to the main modernization window. Be sure to click the “Save changes” button above the item to record the modernization amount. In the “Additional quantity” field, enter the number of years if the useful life of the fixed asset is extended by that many years. If the useful life did not extend, leave this field empty. After filling out all information, save it by clicking the “Save” button at the bottom. Note: After registering these operations, check if the fixed asset value has increased.
