How to write off materials / fuel?
When purchasing goods or fuel, check whether the materials correspondence account (20XX) in the chart of accounts has the checkbox set for “Inventory”. GL → Chart of Accounts Create an operation type "Write-off": Reference Books → Warehouse → Operation Types When specifying the correspondence account, it is necessary to indicate only one expense account (6XXX). Create a new document: Warehouse → Sales Click “+” to add a new entry, create a new entry with the operation type “Write-off”. In the item position, indicate what and how much you are writing off, then save the entry. In the item position field, you can specify another correspondence account in the field “Cost correspondence account” if you want the expenses to be registered to a different account. Also, if an expense correspondence account was specified in the item card, the program will automatically use this account, which you can adjust if needed. Save the document. Check that the double-entry is correctly registered. Note. For a write-off act, the full item card balance is always carried over; you only need to adjust the quantity of goods or other inventory actually written off.
