When weekend (rest) days are included in the calculation of vacation pay, vacation pay is calculated for more days than indicated in the request or the vacation order. The most common reason is that in the work schedule or timesheet, the rest days during the vacation period are marked as vacation (A) days instead of rest (P) days. Vacation days are taken from the timesheet, and the timesheet is compiled based on the work schedule — therefore, first adjust the schedule, and then re-generate the timesheet. What to do: Payroll → Work schedule open the monthly work schedule of the employee on vacation and write it again — click "Write work schedules" (existing monthly data will be overwritten). Days when the employee does not work must be marked as rest days (marking "P - Rest days"); if necessary, specify it for individual days manually.
