How to activate two-factor authentication (2FA)?

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an additional security layer that acts as a digital "code generator" for your account.

Account → My data → Settings → Authentication settings

  1. Press the "Enable 2FA" button:

  2. Available options for 2FA setup: on phone (recommended) or on computer:
  1. On phone
    1. Download an Authenticator app to your mobile device (iOS, Android).

    2. Use the app to scan the QR code (1) from the Site.pro profile window or enter the provided code (2):

    3. A code will be generated in the app. Enter this code into the "Enter code from authenticator" field:

    4. Press the "Enable" button.
  2. On computer (only if you have not set it up on your phone yet)

    1. Download the free "Authenticator" application to your computer by clicking "Add":

    3. Allow the extension to run by clicking "Add extension":

    4. Click the "Extensions" icon and select the Authenticator app:

    5. To link the account, click the "Pencil" icon:

    8. Select the QR code with your mouse:

    9. Confirm that the email is correct:

    10. Open the extensions — the generated code will be displayed. Enter it:

    11. Click "Enable".
